Student Ambassadors are outstanding student leaders selected to represent All-Stars Club in their school and to fellow students and teachers. Student Ambassadors demonstrate leadership, achievement in academics, and a commitment to serving those in their community with special needs in order to make a positive difference. Ambassadors enjoy engaging with people, are committed to creating awareness about the All-Stars Club, and are excited about sharing their experiences with others.

WHAT DOES A STUDENT AMBASSADOR DO?

  • Commit to serving the All-Stars Club giving 15 hours per semester with event preparation, onsite volunteering, and student recruitment activities.

  • Recruit fellow students and staff to volunteer through engagement of various on-campus activities (ie. hosting a booth at a volunteer fair).

  • Develop an expanded knowledge of the All-Stars Club and the special needs community.

BENEFITS OF BEING A STUDENT AMBASSADOR

  • Gain experience through community involvement and service.
  • Create relationships that lead to letters of recommendation.
  • Help fellow students & staff in your community learn more about people with special needs and ways they can serve.
  • Student’s name and photo featured on our website and social media posts.

  • Receive Student Ambassador gear including a specially designed volunteer tee shirt.

 


HOW TO BECOME A STUDENT AMBASSADOR

Qualifications to Apply:

  • Must be a currently enrolled in elementary school, middle school, high school, or college.
  • Must be in good academic and disciplinary standing with your school.
  • The program has a one-semester commitment.
  • Demonstrate strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
    Exhibit leadership, initiative, dependability, discipline, and enthusiasm.

  • Are open to learning new things
  • Have a genuine heart to serve people with special needs and their families
