CONGRATS AARON & DEANNA!
The 2024 Papa Russi Memorial golf tournament benefiting the All-Stars Club was a tremendous success this past Monday! So many stories to share, but we want to start by thanking our incredible group of amazing volunteers who poured their hearts & souls into this event. And nobody is more deserving of our accolades than our two award winners... congratulations to Aaron Janes for receiving the Papa Russi Award honoring the All-Stars’ “Volunteer of the Year” and to Deanna Conrad for receiving the Bob Wood Loyalty award recognizing the person who has contributed greatly to the success of this event over the years.

Our volunteers deserve every ounce of credit for contributing so much over the weekend, many of them starting 5am on Monday and not leaving until 5pm. And they did this all for our All-Stars!

21 All-Stars had a great time learning about the great game of golf at our XGolf Clinic this past weekend! HUGE thanks to our host sponsor, @xgolfdtc who was so generous in taking care of our All-Stars with state-of-the-art indoor golf. The beauty of our All-Star locations lies in their uniqueness. Each one is fueled by the passion and distinct talents of its leaders and volunteers. These gifts, when activated through service, not only expand our ministry but also spread love in profound ways.

As a leader, there’s nothing more rewarding than watching people discover their true selves—understanding what God has created them to do and realizing the incredible gifts He’s placed within them. It’s in this discovery that we see communities transformed as we come together and share life.

I urge you to read this powerful story from our Washington location (@ncctk). It highlights our club director, Jenna (@jennarayyter), who is not only serving others with her unique gifts and passions but also amplifying the impact of All-Stars Club. We deeply value our leaders and celebrate the talents that are paving new paths in each of our clubs.

“Like a lot of people, I found a hobby to pursue during COVID-19. I discovered custom watercolor portraits to be an easy way to connect and celebrate individuals. With a signature style of faceless portraits, I highlight details that personalize each person. My friend inquired about doing live-art portraits at her wedding. At this point I hadn’t considered turning my hobby into a business or even side gig. After some thought and consideration, I accepted the offer with the only request of funds being donated to All-Stars Club. This way, I was able to bring awareness of the organization to the community while doing something I love. During the celebration I was able to let people know what All-Stars is all about in hopes of people sharing in the community and even volunteering. I was amazed by the tips received and the donation the couple gave towards Lynden All-Stars. I was reminded that everyone can support organizations like All-Stars in their own unique way. I look forward to all the ways God will use the funds and awareness to bring the people of Lynden together to celebrate our amazing All-Stars.”
